This iteration of NidhoggвЂ™s most notable change comes from its art style. Icy caverns can make you slip when running. And thankfully, all the stripped-back elements that made the first NidhoggВ so celebrated remain intact.

Though still not on the Switch, anyone whoвЂ™s played the original NidhoggВ will be instantly familiar with this souped-up sequel. No, Nidhogg 2В gave me a dead arm because itвЂ™s the kind of fighting game that will have your girlfriend repeatedly punch you for winning after 30 minutes of intense back-and-forth warfare. Nor was it because of the frantic race that ensues when dashing to the opponentвЂ™s final screen. DonвЂ™t worry, it wasnвЂ™t due to repeatedly smashing the SwitchвЂ™s X or Y button. Nidhogg 2В is the first game I can recall giving me a dead arm.
